St. Lawrence Gap is not a city but only a 0.8-mile (1.3-kilometer) road located in the parish of Christ Church. This road is famous in Barbados because of its famous restaurants, vibrant nightlife, and a wide array of products you can shop for. The locals commonly know it as “The Gap.”

If you want to enjoy nightlife with fancy dinners and music parties in Barbados, St. Lawrence Gap can offer these to you. On the contrary, if you want to explore the capital more at night, choose Bridgetown first before going to the Gap.

How Far Is St Lawrence Gap from Bridgetown?

The Gap is 4.8 miles (7.7 kilometers) away from Bridgetown. If you want to visit St. Lawrence Gap during your Barbados tour, you can choose various transportation options. There is a direct bus route from Bridgetown going to the Gap, and it takes you about 15 to 20 minutes to arrive. Taxis are also available for your convenience and travel faster than the public bus.

How Much Is a Taxi from Bridgetown to St. Lawrence Gap?

From Bridgetown, taxis cost around $15 to $25 and take 8 to 10 minutes to arrive at St. Lawrence Gap. You can avail the taxis 24/7 because it is the main mode of transportation in Barbados. It also provides you an affordable price than using car rentals.

St. Lawrence Gap or Holetown?

Both St. Lawrence Gap and Holetown offer vibrant nightlife to tourists and locals. If your hotel accommodation is at Bridgetown, Holetown is farther than St. Lawrence Gap.

How Far Is St. James From St. Lawrence Gap

St. Lawrence Gap is 11.6 miles (18.7 kilometers) away from St. James. You can travel from the Gap to St. James through a bus ride or through riding a taxi. Travel time is approximately 25 to 30 minutes. If you are using a rented car, you can go through Highway 2A/Ronald Mapp Highway or through Highway 7 and 1.
